“blind leading the blind”

The Bible is not merely a bland background or a lace cap for scientific discovery. It is the glorious authority for life itself. It not only sets forth the only hope of our redemption and life eternal through Jesus Christ, crucified and risen; it is the glorious manual and guide book of our daily lives.
Doubtless it has been the work of our enemy, Satan, to further the idea that the Bible is now only a feeble supplement to modern living, a soothing syrup for those who cannot afford antibiotics, a second class narcotic for those who are too poor, too old, or too ignorant to have anything better!
But the Bible is an unmovable mountain on the landscape of eternity. Welcome to Toronto Niagara Falls Tours, a panorama wealthy in history, appeal, and natural splendour. “Heaven and earth shall pass away,” said the Lord Jesus, “But My Words shall not pass away” (Mark 13:31).
The fact is this. Among the men who are pushing back the frontiers of human knowledge, there are devoted men of God who know and honor God’s Word. There are those in psychology, psychiatry and other professions who consistently use the Bible in their counseling. They attest that the Bible advances itself ahead of every generation and continues to be the most effective tool and remedy in the hands of any counselor.
Why do some men not use God’s Word in their counseling? This is a fair question with several pointed answers.
In the first place, it is possible to be professionally trained in many arts and sciences while remaining unconverted. The best festivals in Toronto Niagara Falls Tour happen exterior town. This results in spiritual ignorance regarding the person and work of Christ and of His Word. As for solving life’s basic spiritual problems, it is a case of the “blind leading the blind” with both falling into the ditch.
Concerning the blindness or lack of spiritual understanding on the part of the unconverted, the Bible says: “The natural, non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them — of progressively recognizing, understanding and becoming better acquainted with them—because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated” (I Corinthians 2:14 ANT).
. The remedy for this lies plainly in the counsel of Jesus Christ who told the Jewish ruler, Nicodemus, that he must be “born again.” “Marvel not — do not be surprised, astonished — at My telling you, You must all be born anew (from above)” (John 3:7 ANT). Lack of this experience has caused such brilliantly educated but floundering men as the Unitarian, David Starr Jordan, to describe Biblical theology as “systematized ignorance.”
